Nathan Roberts on post surgery: Well surgery is done and dusted. All in all it went pretty well (well as well as surgery can go) It was a pretty rough first night and I was pretty grateful for the little morpheine button I had been given.
Luke Campbell on his social life: a 50 year old man starting shouting to me in Serbian, so naturally I didn’t really understand.
Lauren Bertolacci on losing: It’s a tough game to come out of because the first two sets were possibly the best volleyball we have produced together. I guess Stuttgart were even a little bit better.
Mark Lebedew on finals: the first match of the play offs is never about volleyball. It is mostly about emotion and dealing with the extra pressure.
Dave Jones on squats: I am willing to bet that in a large proportion of volleyball athletes the limiting factor is brute strength. Laying a good base of strength is crucial, now go and do some squats.
