Glutes #3

Dave Jones over at Volleyball Base continues his series on glutes.

Part 1 of this series looked at why the glutes are important, basically because they are a major component in jumping, and why they are often not as active as they should be. Part 2 looked at how to address this by giving some motor control exercises designed to get your glutes firing. Now that your glutes are nice and active its time to look at how to strengthen them. more

    Hi Dave

    Can you do a series on recovering from / exercises for Shin Splints.

    Can you also maybe advise some simple exercises for Lower Back Pain and how to strengthen your abdominals as well.

    I have a few players who currently have these injuries and although I have my own exercises for them it is always good to seek new exercises.
