Aussies lose in 5 to Argentina

Australia have pushed the number 6 world rank team to 5 sets in their final match in Argentina. In the 3 “friendly” matches, Australia lost 2 matches to 1. Argentina won the 2 “demonstration / scrimmage” matches.
Russ Borgeaud reports that it was a high quality match. Yudin top scored with 21 points. The guys head to Greece tomorrow.

In the most exciting match of the five played vs. Australia and with an overcrowded stadium, the Argentine National Men Team, coached by Jon Uriarte defeated the visiting team 3-2 (26-28, 25-21, 25-21, 28-30, 15-10). Lucas Chavez and Lucas Ocampo were the best players of the night closing a great friendly series that started just a week ago in Trelew and that finished with a record for Argentina of 4 victories and an only defeat.
