Final award nomination for Harry

South-western Oklahoma State University volleyball player, Aussie Paula Harry, was recognized last season as the Lone Star Conference Academic Player-of-the-Year for volleyball for her accomplishments both on the court and in the classroom. Paula was the top vote getter among players submitted for nomination by the league’s sports information directors. She graduated in May.
Now Paula has been among the finalists for the 2008 Lone Star Conference Fred Jacoby Academic Athletes of the Year. The awards were announced Wednesday following a vote of the league’s sports information directors. The nominees included the Academic Player of the Year in each sport as selected during the year. Paula finished 3rd in the vote on 11 points. more @ NCAA.com
