Featured teams in the women’s Main Draw will be Australia’s Becchara Palmer/Alice Rohkamper and Marleen Van Iersel/Daniëlle Remmers of the Netherlands. Palmer and Rohkamper claimed the silver medal at the 2007SWATCH-FIVB Junior World Championships after losing the finale to a team from Brazil in Modena, Italy.
Palmer and Rohkamper also won the 2006 FIVB U19 title in Bermuda where they defeated Van Iersel and Remmers of the Netherlands in the finals.
As well as the usual fivb sites, there is a dedicated Brighton site for the tournament. The main draw begins today
