Australia will be represented in the men’s draw by Boehm and McHugh, who are ranked 5th in the men’s qualification draw which will be held tomorrow. (originally posted 26/10/09)
UPDATE 2: The guys have been given a bye in the first round of qulification. They play the second round later today. A win will see them into the main draw.

- Boehm-McHugh AUS [28] lost to Lucena-Keenan USA [12] 0-2 (18-21, 17-21) And that, unfortunately, is the end of their tournament.

Looks like there is a new Mikasa being used in China.
Anybody heard anything about it?
I’m not necessarily in the loop but I wonder if the players had an opportunity to trial it before the tournament.

The ball you saw in China is only being trialled on a limited basis and is not in production at this time.

at least they made the main draw… it’s been awhile since someone other than Josh has made the main draw
