I noticed that the Eurosport channel has just been added to the Foxtel sports pack offering. Does anyone know if they have the rights to broadcast indoor volleyball into Australia?
I watched an epic European handball game last night! Would love if there was some volleyball to watch…

One HD and Fox Sports have rights to world league. RAI has rights to the World Champs next year. Eurosport has rights to the grand champions cup,

I saw on some website (FIVB – i think) a list of all the broadcasters that bought rights to screen some international matches. ONE HD was on that site, but i’ve never seen any indoor international on ONE – should be renames NONE.

At present “One” seems to be a great channel if you discount the constant repeats of certain programs and replays of some sports. I have enjoyed the FIVB beach program that they have been showing, but some indoor would be even better.
As a Volleyball community could someone possibly start a petition to get any form of International Indoor Volleyball on Australian Free to Air television? I am sure that if we drew on the Australian Volleyball Public this could achieved?
And when I mean Australian Volleyball Public I don’t just mean AVF registered participants (15,000 – 18,000). I am referring to everyone who plays Volleyball in Australia. From non affiliated local recreation centres right up to our elite AIS athletes…
