Just a reminder that you will need to start working on your application if you want to win the scholarship that is on offer to take an Aussie OS to trial for the chance of getting a contract to play professional volleyball during the 2008-2009 season.

Hey all,
Some more information has come to light about the tours. If the winner is male then the tour dates have been confirmed from 15-25 August, and will begin in Spain. If the winner is female then the dates will remain the same but as yet the tour starting point has not been confirmed.

Hello, I just visited the Live Your Dreams website. I would really like to play overseas and this sounds like an incredible opportunity. Are you only taking Australians? Do you also look at American applications?

Unfortunately for you, the scholarship is only intended for Australian volleyball players. Basically, there is not the infrastructure in Australia that makes is plausible for young players to pursue profressional volleyball as a career unless they are selected in our national junior squads, and no real awareness that playing professionally may be a possibility for those who do not make these teams. For these reasons, we are setting up the scholarship to help budding Australian players. Sorry.
