A great volleyball school here in Victoria. Great program over many years. I remember my first trip to Schools Cup in Canberra. All the Monbulk boys shaved their heads. Their opponents in the bronze medal match all came out wearing swimming caps!

Yes I remember that – that was Lake Ginnindera College captained by Ben Hardy!

LOL – I was watching a future Aussie captain, and what can I remember – swimming caps!!

The Victorian U/16 team players and coaches would like to thank Phill Desalvo for running our training today. It was extremely valuable for the players to see an example of what hard work and determination can get you, and the experiences you can have through professional volleyball.
The way Phill ran training and interacted with the players, both boys and girls, was phenomenal. The players were noticably in awe of Phill and his achievements at the beginning of the session, but Phill came across as really down to earth and even stayed after training for question time and photo taking.
It is great that such experienced players as Phill are willing to volunteer their time to help out the junior players, and we would welcome him back anytime.
